Lodge Anniversary, Syttende Mai and Frokost!

The Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge will celebrate its 21st birthday and Norway's Independence Day, Syttende Mai,  with a Frokost.  Frokost is the Norwegian word for breakfast.  Our Frokost celebration will be an authentic one with  several traditional items included.  There will be several  varities of bread along with a selection of condiments.  There also will be several choices of meats along with deviled eggs.  Since fish is important in Norway, there will be many fish choices along  with an array of salads.  Waffles, lefse, cheese and sweets will finish the feast.  This will be only the second time the Lodge has held  this event and it will be an awesome meal, lovingly prepared by fellow Lodge members and is to be fully enjoyed.  A member and guest only event.
